it’s easy to dismiss him – pretend she has no idea what he’s talking about. she’s good at that; playing dumb – he hasn’t seemed to fall for it though. he’s too close, in a way closer than gwen or harry could ever be. he’s heard the screams, and bottles breaking at 3 AM. and she’s sure harry has vented to him about their tired excuse of a relationship, just as she did to gwen. he’s the last person she wants in her business, but there they are rather she liked it or not. she wasn’t one to talk, investing all her time into soothing gwen over whatever it was he did. she’ll never understand how someone as lame and all together unremarkable as peter, could take someone as perfect as gwen for granted. the way he calls her out is so direct, and entirely unlike him. and for a moment she HATES him, she hates that he is her last tie to her suffocating life in queens. the ony person who made it impossible to leave it all behind. that he knows for how tall she stands and how loud she speaks, trying to take up space, there’s still a little girl who isn’t as fearless as she thinks she is. ❛ i don’t have any PROBLEM, but you right now, parker. ❜
